Music in Brands
Music in Brands AB is a music agency from Södermalm in Stockholm, Sweden. The company was founded by CEO Anders Ekström in the spring of 2008, and is now one of the Nordic’s leading suppliers of background music and in-store radio. Utilizing music as a marketing tool, our strategic curators create customized music channels for brands in public environments, adjusted to purpose, time, weekday and more. We also make unique compositions, audio logos, music supervision and help brands with events and artist collaborations.
Formerly music manager at MTG Radio for over 10 years, building up the radio station Rix FM to become Sweden’s largest radio channels, while working with MTG’s other channels in Sweden and abroad. Anders has also been Head of Music at the mobile operator 3, with the responsibility for developing the digital music service and for producing the music for 3’s commercials.
Support Manager and Marketing Assistant. After several years of touring as an artist, with international success in e.g. the UK and Asia, Amanda has teamed up with Music in Brands after completing her education at Bergh’s School of Communication and working up experience in the advertising agency world.
One of our main partners in music profiling. As a former artist himself, Jean-Paul works as a composer for music in film and TV, from Sweden via Europe to Hollywood, and also as a consultant in broader music solutions. For Music in Brands, he has been instrumental in defining the award-winning storytelling in the music concept for Scandic Hotels.
Head of Finance at Music in Brands. Cornelia has her background in pedagogics, but has been with our team for over four years, dedicated to the company’s accounting and finance.
Account manager with many years of experience in creating long-term and successful collaborations. Christopher is intuitive, curious and solution-oriented, with a talent for branding.
William has been Head of Music at MTV in Sweden, and has worked extensively with music for national radio stations P3 and Metropol. He’s also an active club DJ and keeps track of the latest trends and what works best in different target audiences.
